Newbury Business Group discovers the amazing Kaizen Flo

Amid the chaos which is the default position for so many companies, a Newbury-based company in West Berkshire has come up with the definitive complete business software solution and at the Newbury Business Group’s first meeting back after its summer recess we were given a tantalising insight into Kaizen Flo.
The Newbury Business Group is West Berkshire’s foremost networking organisation and meets each Friday at the Donnington Valley Golf Club in Newbury (although just for a change on the 11 September we are at Donnington Valley Hotel!) and this venue was bursting with energy as members returned with tales of successful summers.
Each week a member delivers a Masterclass, a 10 minute presentation and Kaizen founder Robin Winnett was keen to reveal more about his company’s groundbreaking business software package and began by explaining how disjointed most businesses are and this was something that Kaizen Flo addressed with a complete business software package.
The Morgan PR blog reported on the launch of Kaizen Flo at the Corn Exchange in Newbury back in November and it was great to learn more about this exciting project.
Essentially Kaizen Flo is a fully integrated product range and the core product group ‘Information flo’ is made up of three Products: Companies and Contacts, Document Management and Email Management. Each product is a comprehensive product its own right.
For example Kaizen Flo DMS delivers the ability to locate documents fast, version control, an automatic archive and tags documents against companies and projects.
He explained that different departments need different functions. For example while business owners might need management information and strategic details, those within sales and marketing would need a system for tracking opportunities. Operations would need a system for tracking sales orders and managing resources while Admin & HR would have their own requirements and so on.
Active Timesheets might be the killer application within this strong suite in the way it helps employees fill in their timesheets accurately and in turn justify where there time was spent.
The benefits to a company are even greater, allowing it to keep a track on every staff member’s time. It also highlights the true cost of projects which identifies the profitable clients and the ones where you lose money!
It measures by the minute, in real time, the exact activity online of staff members, which is perhaps something which should have been considered before Dragon's Den star Theo Paphitis called on employers to ban Facebook!
Rob Winnett stressed: “This system greatly improves the ability to measure and if you can measure, a company can plan better. If you can measure, a company can improve.” All this of course leads to better customer service.
